Remembering UIM President, Neil De Beer

Aug 30, 2025

With profound sorrow, we extend our heartfelt condolences at the passing to glory of Neil De Beer, President of the United Independent Movement (UIM). Neil was a man who, though often misunderstood, was never misled—a rough diamond whose integrity and tenacity shone through even the darkest of times.

His unwavering support for the ACDP will never be forgotten. Neil’s words of encouragement inspired us to remain steadfast, even when the path ahead seemed uncertain. He was not afraid to be the lone voice in a sea of turbulence, a courageous soldier for truth and righteousness who stood firm in his convictions regardless of the cost.

A visionary leader, Neil believed passionately in a South Africa that belongs to all its people. He fought corruption on every platform, always championing justice and transparency. His was a voice that called out for unity, hope, and a future founded on principle.

To the ACDP, and indeed to all who had the privilege to walk alongside him, Neil De Beer will forever be remembered as a true son of the soil—a man whose fortitude, courage, and vision enriched our nation. May his legacy inspire us to hold fast to truth and continue the work he so bravely championed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, the UIM, and all who mourn the loss of this remarkable leader. May he rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing to all.
