ACDP extends well wishes to all matriculants

Oct 30, 2023

The ACDP wishes all our matriculants, who have worked extremely hard and persevered, well for their 2023 final examinations. We want to congratulate them for getting this far as this in itself is a great achievement.

According to Umalusi, over 800 000 students, mostly full-time pupils, will sit to write the Final NSC Examinations.

Whilst we welcome the assurance given by the Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga, that the Department has put in place security measures to deal with potential paper leaks, we trust that they would have equally prepared to mitigate the impact of any possible load shedding at the times students would be sitting to write their papers.

The ACDP wants to encourage each and every student to use the remaining days and hours to prepare themselves well to ensure that they face their exams with the utmost confidence.

We pay tribute to all parents, teachers, and support staff, who have worked diligently to prepare students for this moment, and we especially commend those who have done so with very few resources at their disposal.

We hope that the Department of Basic Education will ensure that all pupils receive their results on time this year to enable students to seamlessly register at universities and other institutions of higher learning.

The ACDP looks forward to a successful outcome for the class of 2023.
