29 May 2024 General Election date announcement welcomed

Feb 20, 2024

The African Christian Democratic Party welcomes South African President Cyril Ramaphosa’s announcement of 29 May 2024 as the date on which the 2024 General Elections will be held.

The ACDP has been preparing for this day and we can assure South Africans that we are ready to set them free from the bondage of corruption, crime, joblessness, poverty and, above all, the loadshedding that continues to negatively impact the economy of the country, and from the ANC government that serves its own narrow interests at the expense of the citizens of this country. We call on all eligible voters to take advantage of the last few days to register to vote online before the official proclamation of the election is issued, after which the Voters’ Roll will be closed.

On 9 March 2024, the ACDP launches its Manifesto which aims to inspire and bring hope to the many South Africans who have been undermined by the current administration. Our Manifesto seeks to offer effective solutions for the many concerns people have asked the ACDP to address when we take over the government. We look forward to being joined by our members, supporters and friends in their multitudes at the Manifesto Launch which will take place at the Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg. They are ready to receive the ACDP’s blueprint for good governance, and not just empty promises.
