ACDP wishes 2025 Matric class well with their exams

Oct 21, 2025

The African Christian Democratic Party wishes all the Matric students success with their examinations scheduled to start today, the 21st of October 2025.

We would like to remind all the candidates about this hard earned opportunity and that they use it to the best of their ability, a journey that started when they were registered for the very first time into the early childhood learning institutions or pre-schools environment through which they were gradually moulded into Matric candidates in preparation for their academic education through universities and related institutions.

This moment comes at a time when the country is struggling with the high rate of youth unemployment, drug abuse, teenage pregnancy and school dropouts due to many environmental, economic and social challenges affecting the youth.

The learners should remember all these hardships they had to endure and therefore utilise this opportunity which has the possibility to transform not only their personal but their families and the country’s economic conditions.

In addition, it is also important for the Class of 2025 to acknowledge that the main objective should not only be to obtain the Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate but to use it to pursue their dreams of becoming professionals and artisans in various fields.

Your hard work should give you the confidence that you are going to make yourselves, your parents and the nation very proud.

The ACDP would like to encourage all the candidates not to be anxious for anything but to submit all challenges to the Lord in prayer for more strength, wisdom and understanding before, during and after the examinations. This is the only way to avoid misleading voices that may cause you to look for illegal methods of passing your examinations, e.g. purchasing stolen examination papers.

We hope that the entire nation will rally behind this process, through which the future leaders of South Africa and the world are prepared, by providing support to the learners, educators and officials.

To all the 2025 matriculants, all things are possible to those who believe. Believe in God and believe that you can do all things, including passing your examinations through Christ who gives you strength. Go for it, you have what it takes, this is the moment you have been working towards.

The ACDP has consistently opposed abortion legislation that in our view amounts to the murder of innocent pre-born babies. The Choice on Termination of Pregnancy Act (the CTOP Act No. 92 of 1996) was passed by Parliament on 31 October, 1996, despite widespread...
