ACDP sends condolences to the Buthelezi family on the passing of Princess Angela Buthelezi

The African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) extends its sincere condolences to the Buthelezi family on the passing of IFP Member of Parliament, Princess Sibuyiselwe Angela Buthelezi, the youngest daughter of the late Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi.

Princess Sibuyiselwe fell ill and had been hospitalised for a week before passing away on Monday, 21 October 2024. She was 55.

Princess Sibuyiselwe was born on 18 May 1969. She served as an IFP MP in the National Assembly from 2021 until the time of her death.

Parliament, in a statement, described Princess Angela as “one who distinguished herself through rigorous oversight and steadfast commitment to accountability, which greatly enhanced the effectiveness of parliamentary processes.”

She is survived by her only daughter Princess Ntando Nkeiruka.

Princess Ntando Nkeiruka, the Buthelezi family and the IFP are in our thoughts and prayers. May they find comfort, healing and strength in this sad time of loss.
